The attack of a dangerous dog breed in Terrassa (Barcelona) left Wednesday to a woman about 50 years in a coma, have confirmed to Europa Press police and the Servei d'Emergències Mèdiques (SEM). Because of the attack, the woman was with the whole face with heavy injuries and medical services had to amputate the finger to strip the woman, who was transferred to the Hospital of the Vall d'Hebron.
The Police have opened a criminal prosecution for grievous bodily harm, while she recovers and has already been transferred to the ward of hospital, medical sources added.

Catalan Police explained that the dog, a rottweiler crossed with German shepherds, according to neighbors, had microchip and was vaccinated, but was transferred to a kennel waiting for the judge to decide on its future.
Speaking to Europa Press, the owner of the apartment, Angel Rodriguez, explained that they took care of the dog, owned by a friend who lives in a rented room in the house, and caring with his Yorkshire.
He said the dog grabbed the victim by the neck and face, and he could only trick with a piece of sandwich to leave the woman. Because of the attack, the woman was his face "made a map," he said, and medical services took her out of the building wrapped in a sheet, added Rosa, a resident of the area.
She said the dog was taken to the pound tied after unsuccessfully trying to sleep with darts.
