Big cats distinguish wild big cats children.
One definition of big cat includes only the four cat species in the genus Panthera: the lion (Panthera leo), tiger (Panthera tigris), leopard (Panthera pardus) and jaguars (Panthera onca .) The members of this genus are the only ones able to roar, and this is considered as a feature of the big cats.
A broader definition also includes the cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus), leopard (Uncia uncia), the clouded leopard (Neofelis nebulosa) and puma (Puma concolor).
Three of the four big cats are members of the genus Panthera. The cougar is the fourth largest cat, although it exceeds the leopard in size. Some medium-sized cats like the Eurasian lynx may weigh 25 kg , but are not considered big cats.
Despite the vast differences in size, different species of cats are remarkably similar in structure and behavior. All cats are efficient carnivorous predators.
Their range includes America, Africa, Asia and Europe. only Australia and Antarctica have no indigenous species cat or cats. (Wikipedia)
